The M55 - Snom's all-rounder in the DECT environment

Designed for scalable SME environments, the Snom M55 impresses with its robust design and haptics. The large 2.4" color display provides a clear, concise view of the intuitive user interface. All settings can be made centrally via the M500 base station using zero-touch provisioning, and software updates are carried out over-the-air.
In addition to proven system features such as line monitoring, call pickup, hold/retrieve, broadcast and intercom groups can be programmed on the 6 LED function keys.
The powerful 1500 mAh battery allows up to 12 h talk time in HD audio quality.
Bluetooth headsets are supported in addition to wired headsets.

The 6 keys can be assigned like BLF keys thanks to the Shared Call Emulation support.

Large and high resolution TFT color display

Backlit keypad

This device has backlit keys, which is of course very useful especially in low-light conditions.

 

Bluetooth

This device has Bluetooth headset support.

 

DECT

This device communicates using the radio standard for telecommunications called DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications).

 

Belt clip

This DECT handset comes with a belt clip.

 

Headset connectable

This device has a port and possible software support that allows a headset to be connected.

 

Long standby time

This device has a particularly long standby time.

 

OTA Updates

This device is able to receive updates via radio, i.e. OTA (over-the-air). As a rule, the DECT handsets must be in their charging cradle for this.

 

Shared Call Emulation (SCE)

SCE is similar to BLF on desk phones. It allows monitoring/viewing, answering, holding and transferring calls via programmable keys in the DECT environment.

 

Telephone directory

This device has an integrated phone book.

The latest firmware for your Snom device can be found at the link below. When updating, please follow all safety instructions and take into account which firmware version is currently permitted by the PBX you are using.

You may not be able to update your Snom device manually, but only via the web interface of your PBX.
